Lucia Hrebeňárová

Ing. Lucia Hrebeňárová PhD. graduated at University of Žilina in Žilina. Since 2006, she has been working as the director of the Institute of Lifelong Learning at the University of Žilina, whose activities focus on four key areas: university teaching of professional foreign language, organization of language courses and international certifications, senior education and in-service training of university teachers. Professionally, he focuses on the management of education with emphasis on the possibility of linking the outcomes of higher education and further education. He collaborates on the planning, creation and management of further education projects focused mainly on the field of education for 45+, sectoral partnerships and volunteering in education. She is a co-author of the Adaptation Education System for beginning university teachers at the University of Žilina in Žilina. She participated in the solution of several international projects focused on the creation and implementation of strategies for further education in the university environment. She is the president of the Association of Universities of the Third Age in Slovakia, the Slovak Academic Association for Lifelong Learning and a member of the European University Continuing Education Network (EUCEN).
