Marcela Verešová
doc. PaedDr. Marcela Veresova, PhD. She has been working at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra since 1994, until 2008 she worked in the field of Psychology and currently works in the field of Teaching and Pedagogical Sciences with a professional orientation on teaching psychology and union didactics at the Faculty of Education. Her scientific interests are dominated by topics related to the quality of education (university and other), the quality and personality of teachers in undergraduate and practical training, risk behavior and adolescent health in lower and upper secondary education, risk prevention and attitudes towards school, learning and drugs. She is the author of 225 outputs of creative activity, to which she registers 580 responses, of which 130 are registered in the WoS and SCOPUS databases. He leads a research team on adolescent risk behavior at the university. She is currently the responsible researcher of the VEGA research project "Personality, cognitive and motivational predictors of professional competencies of teachers in undergraduate training and practice". She completed several mobility stays and internships, mainly in Great Britain and Scotland. In the pedagogical sphere, she is the guarantor of the study program Teaching Psychology in Combination, where she teaches profile subjects such as General Psychology, Social Psychology, Didactics of Psychology and others. However, it also educates students of teaching and pedagogical sciences across the university with a focus on their psychological preparation and the development of their psychological literacy.
